This position is responsible to operate the sectional warper machines in the warping department. May also be responsible to operate the direct warping machines.

• Responsible for loading yarn onto the creel and tying in as needed. Stripping and/or repacking yarn. • Responsible for setting up the warping machine according to the SOP for the appropriate style. • Responsible to wind yarn onto the drum then beam the warped yarn onto empty beams. • Responsible for keeping the warper running consistently by warping required sections, fixing end breaks, etc. • Responsible for drawing ends through eyeboard, flat and lease reeds. • Responsible for reloading yarn on the creel as needed to keep the warper running. • Responsible for filling out checklist at the beginning of shift and checking each item with the warper to ensure proper functionality. • Responsible for keeping the area around the warper head and creel clean. • Responsible for letting the Team Leader/Supervisor know of any performance/productivity issues with the warper. • Responsible for entering correct data for each warp into the computer after warp is complete and beamed. • Responsible for checking quality and notifying Team Leader/Supervisor of any quality issues. • Perform other duties as requested by the warping Team Leader/Supervisor of the Warping Department.

High school degree or equivalent preferred • Somewhat important to have good written & verbal communication skills • Somewhat important to have low-level decision-making skills • Very important to have good organizational skills and the ability to work well without close supervision. • Very important to have basic mathematical ability. • Important to have good analysis/problem solving skills. • Somewhat important to have basic computer skills.
