Summary:

Primary customer contact for orders and shipments.


Description:

•Communicate directly with designated customers concerning status of their orders.•Verify invoices, packing list and related documents for accuracy. •Foster strong and positive communications with all external and internal customers .•Promptly respond to all customer inquiries and issues to appropriate individuals using established channels .•Assure on-time and accurate product shipments in accordance with customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities.•Assist in managing customer agreements and maintaining detailed customer account files •Assist in updating all Customer Service procedures and applicable forms .•Assist with SOP and EOP management .•Assist with service orders and spot buy support. •Interface with inter-company departments: shipping, accounting, planning, manufacturing, sales and product development .•Enters all shipments in Sales Log. Relays information and works closely with accounting department. •Analyzing customer requirements using OEM vehicle build info and usages per vehicle to help accurately forecast future shipments. .•Work to meet the goal of 0% expedited shipments. •Must be willing to cross-train in other areas of the department .•Assist with training hourly associates in the department. •Perform other duties as required to support department goals or other duties or tasks that may be requested by immediate supervisor.


Qualification:

•Four year college degree or 4-6 years of relevant work experience in Supply Chain related field •Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Work, Outlook, and Excel).•Some prior Customer Service experience preferred. •Ability to make low level decisions is very important .•Must have good written and verbal communication skills •Be able to work well without close supervision.
