This position is responsible for the movement of import materials including receiving and checking all incoming freight to warehouse; unpacking freight, locating, organizing/reorganizing, issuing material for production, and pulling material to be shipped. Position is also responsible for preparing shipments for double marking, relabeling and moving bins for staging. Must load and unload trucks as directed by supervisor.

•Unload, check, and label all incoming import freight to warehouse •Organize import material in correct racks/staging areas following FIFO method •Communicate to supervisor any visible quality issues with material, packaging, or labeling .•Deliver partially FG to proper departments •Check and monitor SNA inventory of import goods •Pull and double check rolls for shipping •Dispose of off quality fabric as needed •Maintain a daily check list for fork trucks and keep propane tanks filled as needed •Responsible for helping during bi-yearly physical inventory count. •Conduct weekly physical cycle counts •Relabel rolls for weekly shipments •Organize palletizing of weekly shipments •Responsible for moving material into staging for shipments •Responsible for assisting with loading trucks as needed •Perform other duties as required to support department goals or other duties or tasks that may be requested by immediate supervisor including some data entry.

SKILLS REQUIRED: •High school degree or equivalent is preferred •Must have valid fork lift certification or able to obtain license •Must have good verbal communication skills •Very important to work well without close supervision •Must be capable of making low level decisions •Must have good organizational skills
