Summary:

This position is responsible for patrolling and operating all weaving and circular knit machines.


Description:

• Use SOP run card check to assure all information matches what is running on machines. • Responsible for matching weaving sample to fabric running to assure it is correct. • Responsible for patroling front and back of machines looking for any possible problems. • Responsible for replacing any packages that run out in the creel and tie together. • Responsible for replacing false selvage if spool runs out. • Responsible for using hoist to doff rolls when yardage is complete. • Reset yardage clock. • Fix any warp or filling stops. • Always be checking quality of fabric being woven. • Responsible for running the circular knit machines • Responsible for checking circular knit machines quality and notifying team leader or supervisor of any quality issues. • Responsible for creeling the circular knit machines. • Maintain 7S around machinery in department. • Adhere to all safety guidelines and policies. • Perform other duties and help out where needed as requested by supervisor. **$1500 SIGN ON BONUS** **MEDICAL AND DENTAL - NO COST TO EMPLOYEE ONLY**


Qualification:

• High school degree or equivalent preferred • Must have good written & verbal communication skills • Must have ability to work well with minimal supervision • Must have excellent organizational skills • Must have mathematical ability and strong analysis/problem solving skills • Need to be effective at low and high levels of decision making.
